The main objective of Sustainable Farm Certification International, Ltda. is to guarantee credibility, transparency and independence in the decision making process of certifying farms and groups which comply with the requirements set forth by the Sustainable Agriculture Network Secretariat (SAN). The scope of certification decisions is all farms and groups and covers all crops and activities described in the current versions of the standards of the Sustainable Agriculture Network Secretariat (SAN). The Sustainable Agriculture Network (SAN) is a coalition of independent non-profit conservation organizations that promote the social and environmental sustainability of agricultural activities by developing standards. The Inspection Bodies will inform their clients about the audit process, its frequency and costs. They must also inform about the procedures to assign and qualify nonconformities as well as the general certification requirements. Financial support: Sustainable Farm Certification International, Ltda. defines its certification service fees to subcontracted Inspection Bodies in its Fee Policy. The Fee Policy describes the fees for different types of operations that the Inspection Body may inspect. This information is publicly available; please contact cert@sustainablefarmcert.com for further information regarding certification service fees. Every Inspection Body will in turn charge for inspection or audit service according to fees defined by them. Every SAN member offers knowledge and experience in working for the development of the SAN Standards.
